Ramphotyphlops est un genre de serpent de la famille des Typhlopidae.

Les espèces de ce genre se rencontrent en Asie du Sud-Est, en Australie, en Nouvelle-Guinée et dans les îles de l'ouest de l'Océanie.

Ces serpents aveugles sont beige, rouge, brun ou noir. Ils sont petits, avec une tête dans le prolongement du corps. Elles sont supposées se nourrir de vers, larves et œufs de fourmis et de termites.

Ce sont des reptiles ovipares pour les espèces qui ont été observées.
