Leptodactylus est un genre d'amphibiens de la famille des Leptodactylidae. Il regroupe 87 espèces présentes dans le sud de l'Amérique du Nord, en Amérique du Sud et dans les Antilles.

Rana boans Lacépède, 1788 et Hylodes hallowelli Cope, 1862 sont rapprochées de Leptodactylus sur la base de descriptions très anciennes, mais en l'absence de spécimens, elles sont classées Incertae Sedis.
