Prix littéraire décerné à partir de 1972 par la British Fantasy Society et récompensant des œuvres de fantasy. Attribué à des œuvres parues l'année précédente, le Prix British Fantasy est également un hommage à l'écrivain August Derleth. Dans la catégorie « roman», le prix est d'ailleurs nommé August Derleth Award.

Le vainqueur remporte une statue en ivoire qui représente Cthulhu, créature imaginée par Howard Phillips Lovecraft.
