Histoire

Wharton School

La Wharton School a été fondée en 1881 par Joseph Wharton, un industriel et entrepreneur américain. Elle est la plus ancienne école de management des États Unis. C'est l'une des écoles de l'Université de Pennsylvanie fondée par Benjamin Franklin qui est membre de l'Ivy League.

Aujourd'hui, Wharton est l'une des Business School les plus réputées. Depuis qu'il publie son classement annuel des programmes MBA, le Financial Times place l'école parmi les premieres places du peloton mondial. Aux États-Unis, toute proportion gardée, le trio "Harvard-Wharton-Stanford" constitue l'equivalent des 3 Parisiennes en France.
